Bio
Manos was born in Athens, Greece. He came to the United States to attend graduate school and, after two master’s degrees and a doctorate, he decided to settle in Pennsylvania and pursue an academic career. He taught courses on personality and clinical psychology, he supervised theses and internships, and he served on a variety of university councils. He also conducted research on psychotherapy and published papers on clinical methods and training. In 2020, he decided to retire early and devote his time to writing.
The main theme in Manos’s work is the limitations of the human ability for knowledge. This includes a critical view of Plato’s ideal forms, deconstruction, and an existential perspective in the way we understand reality and inner experiences.
